PARKING LOT SAFETY!

• The area in front of the school is a bus loading zone and a fire route. Therefore, it is not legal to leave a car, or to pull into the parking lot during arrival and dismissal times.
• If you drive your child to school, please note that the loop, at the South end of the school is a kiss and ride area only.
• Please do not enter the school parking lot between 7:40 and 8:05a.m., or between 2:15 and 2:50p.m. This applies whether busses are in the driveway or not. The safety of our students is very important to all of us.
• If you are picking up your child at the end of the day, please wait for your child at the Peace Garden area located at the North end of the school.



FRENCH IMMERSION ON LINE PRE REGISTRATION!
The French Immersion On Line pre registration is available from February 1st at 8a.m. until February 15th at 5p.m. for those students beginning Grade 1 in September 2012. To register please go to, www.yrdsb.edu.on.ca. After this time, applications can be made in person at your French Immersion School.


MAZO IS A NUT/PEANUT FREE SCHOOL!
This is a reminder to parents and students that Mazo is a NUT and PEANUT FREE school. We have a number of students and staff in our school that have life threatening food allergies to peanuts and nuts or other by products. We ask all parents to please check the ingredient list of all lunch items, snacks as well as Halloween treats for peanut and nut products before sending them to school. Please remember that no nut products should be on the bus as well. Thank you for your continued cooperation in this matter.

Please go to the website - www.schoolbuscity.com for bus information. You may go on the bus that is closest to your home if you live in our school area. Student transportation will have your information already - you do not need to register for the bus.
